First Day in Quito

After getting into the hotel at around 4:30 am I caught a few hours of sleep and was up and ready to explore the city. We found a beautiful open air market that was only a few blocks from where we were staying! After exploring the market and bargaining for many treasures, I came back with a bagful of goodies that I am extremely excited to take home and share with everyone! The rest of the day was pretty relaxing, we continued exploring the city a little bit and found a nice little café that had an outside patio where we ordered some lunch and watched as the world went by!
