Winter Solstice Blessing

We arrive to Peru just in time to join in the ceremonies of the winter solstice celebrations. This beautiful ceremony that is pictured above involves a natural medicinal healer who creates an offering to mother earth which includes the many elements that envelop us in the physical and spiritual world everyday. This ceremony is performed on the winter solstice so that mother earth may bless us and bring prosperity for the year to come. This celebration was amazing to attend and I could really feel my spiritual self being connected to the earth.
